Does anyone know where I can find an extended version of the intro? I heard it on a radio show. They always played it right before the host joined the show and it was so catchy because it was more upbeat. I don't know if they edited it or sampled it but it sounded so cool.

My son born 2002 had this on his playlist while he was in high school to wake him up in the mornings before attending school..He’s now a Senior in college graduating this semester 2024. And yes he’s a jazz drummer and r and b drummer

I think this was the very first LP and maybe first hit from Kool going back to the late 1960/ early 70s anyway I enjoy this hit from the start and I always will until I go six feet under the ground. Lol
